Helena at the 2011 Oscars :)

I want to make a quick post before I leave for work a shout out to one amazing,quirky,talented and unique lady Helena Bonham Carter. She is so lovely and comfortable in her own style and I applaud her for daring not to be like everyone else in Hollywood. We need more like her so strange and wonderful all wrapped into one...I have loved her since mid 80's really as long as Johnny Depp....

And how perfect for each other are Helena and Tim??? I'd say soul mates...

Oh and Colin's win has me overjoyed I adore that man so much and I haven't seen his movie yet but was rooting for him to win.

I think the best thing about HBC is that she doesn't even see herself as 'not conforming' - she just is what she is, and it would never occur to her to be anything else.

She is made of so much win ♥

And Colin...I LOVE THAT MAN WITH THE FIRE OF A THOUSAND BURNING SUNS :D

I too love Helena's quirky yet beautiful sense of style!! She is an amazing talent and a very unique woman!! Its funny cuz as I read this post I am trying to download a copy of the King's Speech... what a funny coincidence!! ;D

honestly? This was conservative for her. She looks lovely in her funk in these shots. I think the other women were beautifully dressed in their choices. I get tired of HB's continual bizarre but that is her as she chooses to be now. She used to be recognized for her gorgeous style, romanticism and beauty in the dresses she chose. She hooked up with TB and let her funk bizzare go. But it hasn't been attractive and honestly looked like a broken mess for many years now. These pictures presented her and the material of the dress far better than on TV.

She is a little conservative for her and I like it.

She just doesn't care much about clothes or style. When she was talking on the red carpet she just shrugged her shoulders about the dress. She is on the bizzare side with fashion.

I loooooooved how she looked in the Hystorical dramas.

Oh and she rocks the role of Bellatrix.

You have to watch the King's Speech! It's just an amazing movie all around. Colin Firth blew me away with his performance and Helena Bonham Carter was really great as Queen Mum, too:)

So happy about the movie winning Best Picture and Colin Firth winning Best Actor!

She is that great of an actress really one of my favorite ones ever. I adore her in the HP films for her brilliance (not killing) but she makes one brilliant maniac :D
