Winter wonderland!

It's snowing like crazy now. The kids might miss their first day of school tomorrow if it snows like they predict. We are on are way to a blizzard. It's gorgeous and I'm off work today so I don't have to drive in it. I'm grateful for that.

We fixed tomato soup and grilled cheese for lunch and my son tried the soup and liked it for the first time. His tastes changed over the years.

I hope you guys stay safe and don't have to go anywhere today. If you do drive slow. *Hugs and smooches* x0x0x0x0x0x0x

You're in KC?? I go there from time to time - my brother lives in Overland Park. We're getting the snow tonight - I don't want it!!

Yes Olathe is 20 minutes from Overland park. I mostly know were Oak Park mall is though I'm not familer with anywhere else. :)

Snow is lovely if you haven't got to go out in it. We had a mini blizzard here last night, so i couldn't get into work today. The main roads are clearing now though, so i don't suppose i'll be lucky enough to get another day off.. oh well!

There's nothing like soup to warm up during winter. The first time it snow here since we moved from NYC, my sister got so happy and we build a snow man. Now the news said it will snow tonight, I dont like it since Im the one that has to clean the snow. Times like that is where I missed NYC where they clean it for me.

P.s. I have this lime pie recipe that you will love :D

Glad to hear you're enjoying the snow. We're supposed to get 2 - 6 inches tomorrow and Nathan's school is already on a 2 hour delay even though it's not even snowing yet! LOL *huggles*

i'll take the snow over this nasty freezing drizzle we've had today. yes, i had to drive in it and it took 30 minutes longer to get home, but i got home.

stay warm and dry and if you get another day off, more tomato soup and sandwiches!

I want to see snow too

Stay home and stay warm! Is so cold here in North Carolina and I think we are expexting some snow tomorrow so I am happy about that I want to see snow :)
