Writer's Block: Agree to disagree
Have you ever stopped being friends with someone over differences in political views? Are there any issues that are so important to you that you cannot be friends with someone who holds a contrary opinion?

No I'd never stop being friends with someone over Politics. I think you have a right to your own views and if they are different than mine lets just agree to disagree and move on. I know many who would stop being friends with someone over stuff like that but I'm not capable of getting so mad I would loose their friendship over it.

Live and let live life's to short for holding grudges. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Too true. Being that i worked for a Catholic church for four years, i know a lot of people who definitely have some ideas very different from mine on a few subjects. But that doesn't mean that when i see them i don't say hello and talk for a minute, and sometimes even give them a big hug! Everybody is different, we don't have to agree on all the details :)

There are some matters that would make me stop being friends, but usually it's about something really really personal and usually it's because I feel attacked and not respected in some way. But politics? I mean, it's not that important to me. Of course I have my position and I will stick to it, but I don't see it as an obstacle to friendship. I have lots of friends who are comunist, while I am a Third Way/Liberalism supporter - I really like both -, and we're okay with it.
