To Kill a Mockingbird!
I'm watching one of my very favorite movies of all time. I lost count of how many times I have seen it. To Kill a Mockingbird is the best movies ever made. I love and adore Gregory Peck he's perfect in this role. To me he was the most perfect dad you could ever wish for.
The kids are brilliant to I love Scout. She deserved an Oscar nomination if not the Oscar for her performance.

The thing is if I could I'd change the ending of the court's decision. I know you should never want to mess with a classic though.

It was the South. It was the fifties. There was never a doubt about the verdict, no matter what the evidence or how impassioned the closing argument. A white woman's word against a black man's? You don't even need to think about it. And we all know that black men's deepest desires are to get a piece of a white woman.

Wonderful book and movie about horrible times.

I know so horrible a time and the south is still bad which is sad. Fantastic movie and another brilliant film with amazing actors about hard times was Grapes of Wrath I cried in the ending of that movie when Henry's charter leaves his mom. I got emotional with that after I had children of my own.

Just brilliant filmaking in those days. And the most handsome, charming men. LOL :)

I remember reading the book in my junior year of high school and reading the movie. Really good. Too bad people didn't take the intended message to heart. Especially in that time period

I fell in love with Gregory after this movie and loved him ever since. And I always felt the same about Marry. What happened to her is a mystery because she was very talented. I loved Robert so much from this movie also. :)

It's one of my favourite movies, too. As wonderful as the book.

Yes both are equally amazing and that's rare. I guess it's not if you have Gregory in the lead role LOL!

I have never read Grapes of Wrath but I just love the movie. Such a harsh time to live through.
