Facecat and Amy,
I grew up in a Victorian 'mini-mansion' that set atop a hill on the outskirts of town.
From what we were able to find out, it hosted more than one funeral in its early days.
Anyway, there were the 'normal' haunting experiences: strange noises, finding things out of place... and then there were the scarier moments: actually seeing spirits, ends of beds raising up, mechanical toys playing by themselves, and the one memorable afternoon when I was shoved down a flight of stairs when no one else was upstairs. Yep, felt the hands on me and was pushed hard enough that I didn't hit a single stair on the way down, just landed sprawled on the landing. Luckily, the staircase had two turnings, so it wasn't a long fall.

So, yep, I think there's more on this earth than just what we can see.

That is facinating and a part of me deep imside believes a little bit in ghosts I just never want to admit it to anyone to often. I watched the Amityville movie and the Entity and and it scared terrified me.(That's when a part of me started to believe their might be ghosts.

omg! The 'normal' hauntings sound more annoying than anything. But did you ever find out why this spirit pushed you? I think I would have been ready to move then. Yikes.
